Alan Knill - Thank you

Post by exiledgull »

All being well on Saturday, Knill and Brass will have kept us in the football league.

Can we all get behind the both of them and give them a really good send off.

It is not about whether you want him to stay or Ling back in etc... he has come down from the North 'Sheffield I think it was' all the way down here, away from his family to help keep our league status. It is not often a manager leaves on good terms with fans, but I wish him all the best in the future. I think if a top league two job comes up he will be the first in for it, and rightly so.

I want to just say a big thank you to you both.

UP THE GULLS :)

Agreed. If he keeps us up that is a job well done and will enhance his CV.

Very good post. His work, however, is not done yet.

I agree. Alan Knill has worked hard to restore team spirit, confidence and determination into the squad, and he deserves our thanks and appreciation. I remember reading some weeks ago that he'd said he and Lingy are friends, so I'm sure, more than any of us, he will wish Martin all the best on his return to work.

Well done Alan Knill. I'd be very satisfied to see you back next season. Alas don't expect that to happen. Good luck wherever you end up.

Agree with the big thanks for Knill and Brass. It wasn't quite the swashbuckling, inspiring recovery of the Atkins survival, but they had a remit and delivered on it so can't say fairer than that.

Doubt we'll have them back next season, but I think if they find work elsewhere they'll be guaranteed a warm reception from the TUFC faithful

Has Ling's position become untenable?
