Heard today that the Aldershot financial sitution is much worse that people think.
I beleive they were seeing if they could stay in the league but are more than likely to go into administration next week now they have lost league status.
Might be a while before we see them back in league 2

That's sad. I feel for the fans. I hope the club can survive in some fashion. Much rather have them in the league than Barnet.

It is a shame yes, i've not yet been to Aldershot due to us always playing them on a tuesday night but now i'm not likely to get the opportunity for a long while it would seem. I hope they can bounce back and Barnet don't.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Would be a huge shame should aldershot cease to exsist, especially after all the hard work from 1992. Love standing on their terrace and with it being a local game for me, I hope we meet again in the football league soon.
I remember a fan telling me last year they needed 3,000 fans a game just to break even. Do honestly hope they survive as a club.

Stood on the terraces to watch a re-born Aldershot in the Ryman League Div 3 many years ago when I was stationed up the road at Deepcut as an instructor. A real shame as they have good supporters and have worked hard to get all the way back.

Oblivion!!!!
