Well, Mansfield need to beat Wrexham on saturday to win the league and get promoted and if they do and we stay up ( as i'm now confident we will ) then it's the shortest of short trips for me next season at Field Mill! If they were to draw and Kiddy beat Stockport then Stockport would be relegated AGAIN and Kiddy will need to win by 2 to usurp the Stags goal difference. All a bit messy but if Kiddy win by 1 goal and Mansfield draw then they would both have the same number of points and goal difference so i don't know what would happen then? Anyway, i'm just rooting for a Mansfield win.

Play offs are looking good for me to if i can get Newport knocked out, i don't mind going to Kiddy, Wrexham wouldn't be a massive trip but i'm really hoping the Codheads can come up throught the play offs.

So Mansfield and Grimsby would be a delight.

On top of this if Barnet and AFC Wimbledon drop then that would be 2 clubs i wouldn't probably have gone to next season anyway so i'm happy. If Aldershot drop then that's ok too, i may have gone next season if it were on a saturday but they are southern so i don't mind if they drop with either Barnet or AFC Wimbledon. Gills are up, southern, Vale will probably join them (sick of going Vale Park anyway) and i'm hoping Cheltenham or Northampton go up autos and play offs. I NEED Rotherham and Burton to stay down but not fussed if Bradford go up as i hate the place.

ON TOP OF THAT!!! Dropping from league 2 will be Scunny, an embarrassingly short journey from my mums house, Bury (northern), Hartlepool which i CAN'T WAIT to go to as i used to work up there and might pop in! The only negative is Pompey but given the recent history of the club and the fact that i've never been then i will go, so long as it is on a saturday.

All in all a serious result for all northern based Gulls and about time too!!!

my mates a big stags fan so the away match is crying out for a good drinking session!

If goal difference is the same the positions are decided by which team has scored the most goals (this is what put us above Argyle a couple of weeks ago), Mansfield have scored 91 goals whilst Kiddy have only scored 78.

Great news about Mansfield, just need Grimsby to do the business in the play offs now. Tragic about Stockport, it just shows you what can happen once that downward spiral has begun. That could have been us.

Looks like it's going to be an all Welsh play-off final.

Not sure which I would prefer, Newport is a damn sight nearer and I'd imagine they would bring more fans, but they have had a reputation for trouble in the past. (What is it with S. Wales clubs?)

Don't really mind who comes up. My money is on Wrexham but Newport is within driving range for me.

I'm sure I watched a video on youtube where we won 6-1. Was that the game?

Congrats to Newport and welcome back to the Football League.
