Kilmarnock incident
Apparently the game between Kilmarnock and Hibs has been abandoned as a fan has received medical attention in an incident in the east stand. It doesn't say what for or what happened at this stage.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Is this normal protocol in cases like this then? I just assumed that the bloke would have been attended to and taken to hospital and the game would have continued?

Seems the chap was treated in the pitch. Probably the right decision to call it off.

Yes, sad news. Definately the correct decision under the circumstances.

Andy, I know you used to be 'bored to death' by Ling's tactics at away games, but Lingy never chalked up as many victims as the Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels.
It seems that's the third spectator who has dropped down dead while watching his team play in a little over 12 months !!

Mind you with the latest fatality occurring five minutes into the second half, you have to wonder whether it was Shiels' football that was the cause, or the half time deep fried Mars Bar ?Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels pointed out that it was the third time he had been present at such an incident while manager at the Rugby Park side.
In March 2012, midfielder Liam Kelly's father died following the Ayrshire side's League Cup final win over Celtic.
A month later, an Inverness Caledonian Thistle fan died during that club's visit to Rugby Park.
