Good luck/bad luck

Post by Wisconsin_gull »

Riding home on my bike tonight, I rode under a tree and a 'marksman' bird had a sh*t on my head - direct hit on my forehead. I could hear Sid Waddell shooting Double Tops!

In a moment of Taoist reflection after a shower I thought on the incident

Good luck - could have taken my eye out! =Z
Good luck - could have been a much larger bird! :Z
Good luck - didn't crash and injure myself! :)
Good luck - most of the sh*t went in my hair so it wasn't obvious to other road users! :)

Bad luck - why me! :@
Bad luck - why couldn't the bird have waited

So on 4-2 countback I now understand why it is good luck when a bird does one on yer head!
At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!
