Lord Sebastian Coe
Some very very exciting news for my school and Torbay it's self.
I'm currently the 'out going' head boy at St Cuthbert Mayne and tomorrow evening we will be hosting our yearly 'Celebration of Achievement Evening' to celebrate the students hard work. It's also an evening which hosts the hand over of the head boy and head girl duties. Why am I telling you this? Well, every year we have a special guest to give out the awards, say a speech and be a part of a really really great night. Last year we had Michael Macey, an ex student and high priest who was a part of the Royal Wedding. This year, we've gone a little bit further. This year, our special guest, is non other than Lord Sebastian Coe! The man who brought the Olympics to this country, will be at my school tomorrow night and I will be meeting him face to face. The press will be there and the Herald Express will be there and will be streaming the night LIVE on their website (I don't know the link) so if you fancy giving it a little watch, you have the chance.
A very exciting thing for me tomorrow, fingers crossed it all goes to plan!

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I used to play football with a bunch of teachers from Cuthbert Mayne. I wonder if they're still there....

I think you mentioned James Down (or Mr Down as I know him, my PE teacher) last time I mentioned my school. He's still at STCM and is bouncing off the walls!

There was another chap called Marek Cole who I think left a few years ago, and Dan Murray; nicest guy ever. Also a seriously good footballer.

Night went to plan. Lord Coe did a tremendous speech, he was such a polite guy was a pleasure meeting him. He was terrific with the students, shook everyone's hand, signed autographs. When my head teacher tried to get him away, he persisted on staying being in photo's and willing to chat to all. A real great night to hand over my head boy position.
