Nearly halfway through second half, Cameron and Sullivan on for the Gulls. Still 0 - 0.
we just missed a pen, according to bet365
Bodin pen saved, sounds poor all round.

Not sure why Bodin is on pens. Number 10 shirt, central role, penalty taker. Perhaps he wants the captaincy too...?

Pearce is a big signing. He's a perm deal from a better club for a player who is, really, too good for us. It's never going to be concluded swiftly.
This isn't like a mobile phone or car insurance contact, where there is a cooling off period, we're asking a bloke to change the fundamentals of his entire life: his employer, his friends, home, everything. As far as I know, day one on the Pearce thing was Tuesday. We knew of each other prior to that, but Tuesday was Genesis. It's only Saturday now, and we've had a match for which we have prepared in the meantime. A timescale of this length is absolutely normal and usual. If he's not ours by the AFCW game, then we might have hit a snag, until then, assume everything is progressing satisfactorily.
This Hereford game sounds well dull, glad I didn't bother going.
Matt.

If a player misses a penalty, the job should be given to somebody else.
If memory serves me well, Bodin deputised when Howe was out last season. Remember him scoring at home to Rotherham (seconds before Courtney Cameron ran straight through from centre and crossed for their third!)Fonda wrote:Not sure why Bodin is on pens. Yeah he wasn't down to play and he wasn't on the teamsheet but he did come on at half time replacing deamon. I must say that if you were following the commentary on the Hereford website it was very vague for our team as to who was coming off or on. It's not hard to give shirt numbers surely !
