Would be a different picture if Bodin's shot had gone in instead of coming back down off the bar. Sounds as if our midfield were struggling first half. If that goes on 15 minutes into the second half we should bring on 3 or 4 subs. If Knill does have to make any substitutions I hope they're not too little too late as is usually the case with substitutions.

It had crossed my mind that despite the addition of Harding whether central midfield has been overlooked again. The only option of changing things in that regard is to bring on Lathrope who won't exactly add much. I thought Craig looked decent at Tiverton in pre-season but once again he can't make the bench this year.
Never said you were being negative! I know your generally not negative, just wondering if you were baiting Brucie and co. Looks like it worked anyway!Scott Brehaut wrote: Not fishing for negativity. Asking a simple question....check my posts (there are a lot of them) I'm rarely negative.
There were lots of people delighted that Ling was given the boot and Knill was appointed in spite of a less than amazing "trial" at the back end of the season. I appreciate the team he had wasn't great and he did his best with what he had. My question was whether people thought we were actually that much better than last season.

Well done to Rene Howe for getting through the first half of the Burton game without picking up a card........................
