Fav and Worst Jockeys
Self explanatory for you racing enthusuiasts.
My fave jockeys are/were:
Richard Hills - loved him and would back him blind
AP McCoy - absolute legend and true pro.
Chris Caitlin - never gives up, strong as an ox and will go through the tiniest of gaps without a care in the world.
Richard Hughes - stylish
Graham Lee - strong, tactical under both codes
George Duffield - loved old George
Mick Kinane
Worst jockeys:
Jamie 'Frank' Spencer - holds up his horses to death and they always come with a late rattle to finish 2nd or 3rd. Absolute tosser.
Nicky Mackay - weak, bottles it and gives up easily.
Kieran Fallon - was one of the best but cheated - moron.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Yep, Richard Hills for me too Andy - had many winners thanks to the "Hamden/Hillsy" partnership.
Also liked "Chocolate" Richard Thornton, Johnny Murtagh (he won me my first ever Derby bet), Kieran Fallon (I know he was a cheat, but he also got me a shed load of winners) and Ryan Moore.

That answer should be on the TUFC Ladies Thread on the main board mate.

Choc is a star too I agree, not keen on Murtagh, Moore is quality too and I missed him off by accident!Scott Brehaut wrote:Yep, Richard Hills for me too Andy - had many winners thanks to the "Hamden/Hillsy" partnership.

Best newcomer for me is Robert Tart, ridiculous name but boy can he get a tune out of a horse!
Best female jockey (or 'split arses' as the old archaic blokes in my bookies call them  ) is No legs Cathy Gannon although many of them I would back over the men. Rachael Kneller, Sarena Brotherton, Hayley Turner is ok but not as good as everyone makes out, Lucy Alexander is decent too. I wouldn't touch Kirsty Milczarek with a bargepole though , literally!

Oh and Robert Winston and Tom Eaves are both sh*te too.

By the way has anyone ever watched American racing? It's embarrassing, some of the jocks over there are atrocious! Some don't even bother riding a finish and most look like they are experiencing co-ordination difficulties. Awful stuff. Also names of the South African jocks are a laugh aren't they?!
