Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

They are a team I think you'll see in the Conference and maybe even League 2 in years to come. If Torquay need ideas of how to run a small football club, this is a good one to look at. Banners in prime locations around town showing the next home game, a well run club who have plenty of sources of income, such as 3 or 4 astroturf pitches which are rented out regularly and they keep in the good books of the bigger local(ish) clubs like Peterborough and Barnet.

That's St Neot, no 'S'.
Our little town was named after some thieves went to Cornwall and stole the bones of Saint Neot himself.
And when we're not celebrating our historical thieves, we're celebrating our historical murderers, such as John Bellingham who is the only person ever to assassinate a British Prime Minister.

What a great goal!
There is also a St Ives in Cambridgeshire as well. Are there any other Cornish names around there?

When is the FA Cup draw anyway? Can't be long, the first round is in 3 or 4 weeks.

That's about it, as far as I'm aware. There might be some very small Cornish town names that I've never heard of, however.hector wrote:What a great goal!

Cornish St Ives definitely beats our St Ives, but it's by no means an ugly town. St Neots however, certainly beats St Neot, especially around the river.
