I never thought of that.
Now for another bit of drivel which I have no doubt some of you will hijack in a manner to make all suggestions rediculous. even if they do make us laugh.
It's a challenge to us all out there to come up with ideas which no one had thought of that can help in some way. either in the house. garden. driving. building a model. Sport or whatever. Lifes little tidbits of advice to make things go smoother and avoid problems or unneccassary pain.
for all the guys out there who are single and have problems ironing. try putting your shirts on the lower speed spin cycle. It is less likely to make them crease.
Just to give a funny one. When cutting the grass sprinkle cider all over the lawn afterwards. the grass then come up half cut.

Don't bother with vacuum cleaning. Once the dust reaches a certain level you won't notice any additional dust settling on top...

SUPPOSEDLY. If you put a wooden spoon over a pot of boiling water it won't boil over.

Stop your bread from drying out by keeping it in a bucket of water.

wrap your cheese in tin foil. You should find that it won't go mouldy so quickly.

Wooden spoon makes no difference. All depends on how much water is in the pot and/or how hot the water is.Glostergull wrote:SUPPOSEDLY. If you put a wooden spoon over a pot of boiling water it won't boil over.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
