What's the deal with Brassy's sponsorship then, Taxi?

Knill thinks losing Brass is a big loss and I would have to agree.

We need a professional management team in order to run a decent League 2 team. Asking an unknown to step up and assist whilst we are bottom of the football league is an insight into those who are running this club!

Poor board members, poor decisions, poor management team, poor displays, poor results, poor league postions, poor attendances, poor, poor, poor!
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. :goal:

Agree with your sentiment Kevgull, however I wouldn't call someone like Robbie Herrera an unknown, Robbie had a good professional career with us, QPR and Fulham, and grown as a football coach for a few seasons now, he knows his stuff, could be a good chance for him.

We give out one year rolling deals and the club gets endless stick about it from idiots.

We've finally benefited from one and, quelle surprise, no one mentions it.

Whatever we paid him in 365 days, I'm guessing somewhere in the region of fifty large.

Matt, I seriously doubt we'll have got £50k for Brassy if that's what you are indicating. I can't imagine Bury are in any position to pay that money and I really don't think the club does it reputation any good with professionals in the game if you refuse to release an assistant manager to allow him to work 15 mins from his family when he is currently has a 4 hour round trip. I would think Brassy would have had either a contractual or gentleman's agreement that we would allow him to pursue other opportunities if they arose.

Exile, I think you overstate the importance of our reputation as an employer. If you consider the behaviour of Abramovich, Levy and Fry, to name but three, it hardly dissuades coaches from applying for work. In pro football there are hundreds of capable candidates for scarce vacancies.

In my humble view, we ought to squeeze every last penny from such an opportunity. For a change, PLG makes a valid point: we have safe-guarded an asset, and should benefit as best we can.

Thanks for letting us have Brassy back! Great to see passion back on sidelines and Flickers allowing him to have input on tactical side alongside him. Players at Bury always said Brassy was big influence on morale and eye for young talent in loanees. Really hope you stay up but thanks once again!

No worries mate. He likes the north and maybe he has got his second wind. Flitcroft will keep you up, good motivator. Knill on the other hand is constructed purely from pipe cleaners.

Enjoyed my visit to Gigg Lane this season (obviously the result) but a proper club and a proper ground, friendly folk and decent 'MADCHESTER' music. :-D
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

That sounds about right. Keep the useless f*cker and send the other one back. :~D :keepie:

Flitcroft and Brass in harmony, a bit bereft tactically but motivation and energy are all that is needed to get out of the bottom two. Nobody in our league has any real quality. You've just secured your league 2 status Paul John.
