well add pearce to those two for a start. oh and perhaps you could also look at those that went out on loan when they didnt really want to.hector wrote:Stefano referred to a GROUP of players. KN & LM hardly constituent a group, especially seeing as one of them barely featured in recent months, even if the accusation levelled at them was true.
Can Hargreaves and hodges keep us up this season

Well the likelihood was that Knill lost the dressing room, as well as the fanbase. Once that happens, it is a no-brainer. Plus, he was crap.SuperNickyWroe wrote: well add pearce to those two for a start. oh and perhaps you could also look at those that went out on loan when they didnt really want to.
With the next two away games being Portsmouth and Chesterfield the likelyhood is that we will get no points from either.
Its therefore imperative that we win our next three home games, otherwise we will be be tailed off.
Just because Burton are at the top of the league it matters not. On a Winters Tuesday night in Torquay this is a game that we must win. A draw means nothing, we really have to win it.
Hargreaves got a good win against Wimbledon but lets face it - he picked the wrong team against Oxford.
Time isn't on our side. He has to come up with a winning formation on Tuesday,

Yes they can, unquestionably. The division is a poor one, so many average teams that we can look to take points off of- although clearly that needs to be done sooner rather than later.
I don't think this is the worst predicament we have ever found ourselves in either. Certainly no worse than last year. We need to utilise our large squad better, find the formula and get on with picking up some points.

Just had a glance at the league table and we are in the relegation places even though he has had 3 games to sort it out!
Can I decide when we are mathematically safe from the drop?
PS. I actually think we will finish above not only Exeter but Argyle as well. So that would definitely be safe!

I actually think we have a very good chance of avoiding relegation. if Knill was still here no way, and i was one of the first with Brucie I must mention who noticed how poor we were at the home game to the Wombles.
Weve had 3 away games under CH and won 2. Ive seen those 2, and although I still think there is a lack of quality going forward there is definetly a major improvement. Morale, cohesiveness, fight, concentration, all improved.
One big thing in our favour is that the division this year is extremely poor. Other than Chesterfield we have a chance against any of the others to get at least a point.
A run of bad form, key injuries to influential players could affect any team. We have a squad now, which could be key to gaurd against injuries etc.
Also great to see that CH can make the hard decisions, he dropped Manse and Downes at w/e which I dont think Knill would have done, respect for that Chris
