I was only trying to point Ryan in the right direction with his journalistic ambitions, & I've started a minor (definitely Minor) battle. Just so Pringle is aware, I am qualified to pass judgement ! Taxi drivers (sometimes) have hidden talents. It was refreshing to read an article by an opposing fan that wasn't trying to exaggerate the skills of his own team or belittle our own skills...not that many of the posters on here would subscribe to the theory that we have any at all !

I'm afraid poor grammar or not, the young man could still make it as a reporter. We see examples of poor grammar every day, it's a result of spell checker on computers which will correct a wrongly spelt word but will not correct poor grammar, and having just left employment in a secondary school I can assure you all that this is an ever increasing problem. Indeed, about half the teachers I worked with were terrible at both spelling and grammar, INCLUDING AT LEAST TWO ENGLISH TEACHERS!
Hence, this week when applying for a job at BT (yes a multi million pound business) my daughter was asked 'Where did you here about this position?'
Yea, u cudnt mayk hit oop

I have to say that the report described EXACTLY what happened during those 90 minutes. Totally accurate IMO. The only annoying thing for me about the CFC fans on local radio afterwards was that they didn't see the full picture unlike Ryan has done. One old bloke rang in to Peak FM and started by saying, "We got out of jail today".
That was spot on. Poke's error changed the entire complexion of the game and up to then they were struggling big tme against little old Torquay. They needed that to go on and get the fans behind them and get some momentum going. Fair enough after they had equalised they deserved to go on and win the game but only because of the way they got back into it. Cheers Ryan.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
