Why is Ryan Giggs in there? He only played half an hour and made one pass.

Giggs won player of the year the other year making 10 starts out of a 38 game season. Seems he doesn't have to actually do anything these days and people just assume he deserves to win.

Just to confirm to those who don't know:

Bishop of notts county won- Bevan was joint third with Ryan giggs (11%)

The midfielder picked up a whopping 45 per cent of the overall votes, beating West Ham's victor Obinna (33 per cent), Manchester United's Ryan Giggs (11 per cent, Torquay's Scott Bevan (11 per cent) and Birmingham City's Kevin Phillips (one per cent).
