The judicial review was concluded today when the presiding judge ruled that Sainsbury's planning application had been granted legally and as a result They can now proceed with the purchase of the Memorial Stadium freeing up the finance for Rovers to start building their stadium.
This was a victory for common sense as Ninbies had formed a Ltd company to hold up the deal. It was seen as a way to create maximum trouble without incuring cost as Most people think that the company formed to fight the project will not be able to pay the legal bills which will now fall on the public purse.
