bloody love Seabiscuit, it nearly made my list. :)

Some say its boring but I totally disagree, it was a very well made, triumph over adversity, emotional film, based on a true story. What more could you want. :|
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.

Seabiscuit: a worthy film but totally and completely boring!

If you want to see a wonderful film about horse racing, Champions is the one. It's the story of the 1981 Grand National and how jockey Bob Champion (played by John Hurt) battled against cancer to win the race on Aldaniti, a previously crocked horse. Brilliant music by Carl Davis, and a great and inspiring film...!!

This has a squeezed image and is not HD but will give you an idea as to the film's excellence:

my faves are "Dodgeball" - Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, and ...Dodge!

and the absolutely filthy "Kingpin"

Absolutely love Dodgeball! Have watched it loads of times, one of those films you can just put on or watch anytime its on the telly. The bit with Lance armstrong is quite ironic now though.
Patches O'Houlihan: If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
Justin: What?
[Patches throws a wrench and hits Justin in the face]

Patches O'Houlihan: If you can dodge traffic, you can dodge a ball.

Patches O'Houlihan: I ain't crazy and I ain't a guy.

Peter La Fleur: [after Patches hits Justin in the face with a wrench] Yeah, uh, Patches... are you sure that this is completely necessary?
Patches O'Houlihan: Necessary? Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine?
Peter La Fleur: Probably not.
Patches O'Houlihan: No, but I do it anyway because it's sterile and I like the taste.
Peter La Fleur: ...Okay.

[while everyone is doing the shuttle run]
Patches O'Houlihan: Come on! I get better runs in my shorts!

Patches O'Houlihan: [giving the pre-match pep talk] And will someone catch a goddamn ball? It's like watching a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob out there!

Patches O'Houlihan: If you're going to become true dodgeballers, then you've got to learn the five d's of dodgeball: dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge!

Patches O'Houlihan: My sweet dick, it's magic!

Patches O'Houlihan: [about Gordon getting angry] Go you crazy son of a bitch GO!
Classic! :-D

Crikey, at this rate Im going to have to rewrite my list.

kingpin was really funny when I first watched it, the characters are hilarious. Funniest bit is when Randy Quaid exclaims he is getting used to our modern ways and he is taking a $h1t in a urinal.

Blackball? (Filmed in Torquay)..
Really liked Blackball, considering it was about bowls it was very entertaining also some of the camera shots made Torquay look fantastic. :-D

Yep Happy Gilmore makes me laugh, I like most Adam Sandler films, but then again I am like a 12 year old when it comes to humour.

I loved The Longest Yard, one of sandlers best. Critics slammed it, but then again they hammer everything he does. I liked the original Mean Machine/Longest Yard as well, it was a bit strange and with a shade of irony when you saw Burt Reynolds turn up as a character in the remake after being the lead in the original. :)
