Torquay Fixtures for 2014/2015
So the fixtures for next season are released on Friday 4th July at 3pm to the public. Coupled with 30 live matches on BT Sports it has the feel of 2007 all over again(ok, not quite). I would imagine us or rovers could feature on the 1st live match. Many united fans around the country will be planning their away trips and hoping for favourable dates. I would hope rovers will determine our Christmas diary. What ever happens we have a tough season ahead playing many teams we have yet to play(excludes cup matches) so some good away days await.
Dartford
Eastleigh
Telford
Dover
Braintree
Alfreton
Nuneaton
Welling
Southport
On paper a Top 8 finish has to be minimum, with playoff place a more realistic finish. COYY. No doubt we will get a drab LIncoln away 1st match

3pm Friday isn't it.
Call it what you will but I don't think I've ever not looked forward to the fixtures being released quiet as much as this year.![Hmm :-/](./images/smilies/arf.gif)

with those live games in mind, how likely is that they'll get moved last minute? I ask because I'm pretty sure I'm going to come over around Christmas/New Year and don't want to make plans if they' go and change it all.

In less than 24 hours, we will finally find out who the Gulls will face in their return to the conference.
Who do you think we will start the season against?
Who's looking forward to planning new grounds to visit?
Who's plans will be ruined by stupid fixtures? (if Gateshead away isn't on a weekend I shall be very unhappy!)
3pm Friday, we will find out.
I think we'll start away at Nuneaton. No idea why, I just do.

If we can't get a home fixture first game,Forest Green would be a good place to go. They are amongst favourites to go-up,so would be good barometer of what to expect in this league.

Signings coming in. Over the fact we were relegated. Looking forward to the forth coming season. Thankfully I'm not on holiday this year when we have our first game of the season, so I'll be there home or away, wherever!
Hopefully I'll be back to posting a little more regularly soon.

Does that mean we will be playing two teams at the same time?dannyrvtufc4life wrote:Merged the two fixture topics together.

God forbid. Hopefully it'll mean we get 6 points instead of 3 for a win, 2 for a draw and 1 for a lose (yes I know double 0 isn't 1 but you get the pointless joke).

Can't wait for the fixtures to arrive so I can start planning my next trip to Torquay from Norway. Hopefully we'll get a couple of Saturday/Tuesday doubles at Plainmoor. Would be great.

According to Facebook the fixtures were accidentally released early on the Conference website but have now been taken down. Our opening day fixture according to a comment on this post is away to Gateshead.
Also, on the FA's website the draws and dates for the various cup competitions can be found here. As we enter at the 4th Qualifying Round, our FA Cup will start (and if previous years are anything to go by, finish) on the 25th of October. Not sure about the FA Trophy - all the links are PDFs and to be honest I couldn't be bothered downloading them all and figuring out when we enter.
