Southport

I see that Southport, everyone's favourite team, have sacked manager Martin Foyle and have appointed ...... Gary Brabin in his place. Made for each other I would think. I wish Southport every failure for the rest of the season.

What's your problem with Southport? Dreadful side full of divers and dullards, but if that was the only criteria, we'd hate almost everyone.

Yes - there have been teams whose theatricals have been laughable but I don't remember a team that cheated their way to gain a point as much as Southport did. The 'game plan' must have come from the manager cos they were at it almost from the first minute. I suppose my problem shouldn't be so much with Southport as with the ref who allowed himself to be conned throughout the match.

I have respect for clubs like Welling, Nuneaton and Dover who although struggling near the foot of the table, at least came here and tried to play football.

Anyway, leaving aside all that, I don't like Brabin either !!

Fair enough, I wondered if I'd missed something. I'd hate to think I was missing out...

Brabin has always irked me, but I'm not sure I can say why.
