Chester 1-0. Apparent defensive mistake.

Is this the reaction you was talking about Chris?
To be fair, it sounded like the team was playing pretty well up to their goal.

Yeah we had a decent chance at the other end right before their goal but we have fluffed a couple of good opportunities. Our midfield passing sounds particularly woeful.forevertufc wrote:To be fair, it sounded like the team was playing pretty well up to their goal.

Half time. We sounded alright up until they scored, but then did absolutely nothing afterwards. Harding sounds like he's struggling as is Chapell.

Being outplayed again, Chester playing simple, fast effective football. Deadly on the counter. Torquay aren't playing as a unit at all, hopeless balls upfront. Ryan Bowman with a great chance when he took it past the goalie, should have squared it to Briscoe to pop it into an empty net. Instead, he tried to go alone and gave enough time for the goalie to get back. Briscoe had a chance to shoot but then passed it to Bowman and the chance went- not making the right decisions at all. Then Young hit the bar from a free kick, Chester countered with some quick passing and its 0-1.

fair play to those few, if we don't sort it out it's just going to continue to drop. not sure if hargreaves out is the answer, these players just aren't performing and they're letting everybody down. I'm not wasting my money on watching 11 blokes run around with no passion, and no desire to win. A lot of them will be looking for further employment come June.

Frustrating that a manager who was a midfielder can't seem to get the midfield working.

It's just so frustrating, we are able to get ourselves into good positions but then we let ourselves down with an awful pass. I admire the commitment that those who are there tonight have for the club, because they're sure not seeing any good football.
