Yes your right I was told last night that all deals had to be sorted by 5pm tonight by an official of our club perhaps they've got it wrong. Just checked emergency loans by 5pm 26 November.

Doesn't give us much confidence if the club doesn't know the rules.
Also how come Marsh was allowed to play last night before his three match suspension was up?

It wasn't an official match, just two sides meeting up to kick a ball around. No FA body was involved or recognised the match.

You can do what you like in a friendly - make more than 3 subs, play players not registered to you (as we did last night as well), even change the length of the game. For a testimonial you can even get the ref to give you a soft penalty on cue.

The club were right all paper work sorted 25 November. It's closed now.

I'm confused. BBC Sport lists loan transfers agreed today.
So the bottom line is there are no 'ins' or 'outs' until the January window opens.

I've been looking several times today hoping something good comes out of it and then notice on one site all paper work to be completed last night that's what I was told Tuesday night. Then on another site it's tonight 5pm but it seems to quiet for anything good for Torquay

Oh well we'll just have to soldier on with what we've got and see how far adrift we become by January 1.
At least Paul Cox managed to get in two loan players today for Barrow.

Well the club may have missed out on the striker they were after, however TUFC has made a signing today apparently, it is forward, it is drum roll....Sean Finch from Watcombe Wanders.

If that's correct I dare say the lad deserves his chance and good luck to him - but on the face of it the recent signings are almost insulting the fans. Yes- we know we have no money, no experience in the management duo, a small board and not a lot of luck etc but we seem to be just filling the squad with complete and utter long shots. To be candid we seem devoid of any attempt at any real answers. There are Peninsula League sides showing more get up and go. The games in December before the window reopens will be key if we are fight off going regional but we seem on the face of it to be just accepting that fate. Perhaps I am annoyed after what seems to yet another frustrating day for United and am misreading things but I do think it is time the Board gave us their take on things. They need at this stage to convince people to come to games based on what their long term plans for the club are.

I don't wish to make comment on other no doubt necessary works but I do think every spectator needs a reason to attend games. The Board need to give us that reason. They can only do that if they share their thoughts.

Well there was a post on facebook earlier in the week suggesting the club were after Nathan Blissett and a post elsewhere seems to confirm the club were after the now Lincoln bound Blissett.

The signing of Finch from Watcombe is on the FB page of our C.E.O so I'm guessing it's correct.
