I have no problem with a clear out of the players who have contributed to the mess we are in. As far as I am concerned the majority of the current squad can sod off. Just so long as they are not replaced with South Devon League players.

Shame about Fisher as I thought he was alright, and certainly worked hard in the time he was with us. Fenwick - never saw anything in him to suggest he was good enough.

We'll be shockingly light up front now over xmas. Wright, Marsh, Finch - hardly going to have FGR quaking. Hopefully this will all facilitate bringing in some players with fight in the new year

Quite telling comment about Fenwick - "hope he proves me wrong elsewhere". Basically we tossing it off in training for us then

No loss. We now have funds for our relegation fight.

No loss, except Fisher is responsible for 6 points this season. When you reckon we've got 17 points (or whatever) and we've used 3,000,000 players (or whatever) he starts to take on greater than average significance.

33% of our points just walked out the door.

Good stats and a valid point, put Hurst into that equation....

Shame about Fisher, as I thought he was decent, but I'm happy to trust Nico on this one.

i liked fisher as he always seemed to try and chase up front all day. fenwick did show some good signs when he was on the ball. but i suppose we need new faces in and quick but good players this time. get the defence sorted first.

Hurst earned us just three points, if I remember correctly.

Im not worried if those players were upsetting the dressing room or not putting in a shift in training and hence on the pitch. it has been said that Fisher was a good player who did ok. but if he didn't put in a serious training session then he can't be the best for us that we needed. so as long as we get players in to replace them who will go through a brick wall for kevin then I don't see any going out the door as a big loss.

Exactly what Nico is trying to achieve. He just wants to select a team he feels he can rely on.

Glad to hear this to be honest and I support KN in his actions on this, it has to be extremely hard for him right now

An even tougher question for KN now is he absolutely the right option for left back.
I don't think he is IMO and to fully comprehend what is required for his team to fight now he should withdraw himself from the equation. A tough call I know but in doing so he will also alleviate that part of the pressure currently on him.

The problem for KN is that his best LB is also his best left footed/sided midfielder and given the overall weakness in midfield he possibly feels that the current combo is the best option overall.
