In answer to the question of why nearly all Cox signings have left then yes it does tell us a lot. It tells me that they think the club is now a joke after refusing to pay the bloke they signed for and then appointed an over the hill and frankly shite left back to manage them. To be honest it's not the judgement of those that have left that I question.
There really is some blind faith amongst our support but nothing that a good hard look at the table shouldn't fix. I used to love watching Torquay. Now it's a bloody chore and feels like giving my hard earned cash to a bunch of imbeciles so they can flush it down the toilet. I know that I'm not alone and it's a disgrace. The last board did plenty of damage but these clowns have done well to surpass them.

Whether it's right or wrong this is how I feel also. I find the way we conduct ourselves as a club, our transfer policy our complete lack of any finance, future plan or hope bewildering and soul destroying. Some of the lads we have playing for us wouldn't get in Didcot's team (who i watch regularly) in the southern league and I feel that's where this club is heading. I haven't enjoyed one minute of this season watching us fall to lower and lower heights, getting thrashed by pub teams and almost certainly being relegated to a level we won't return from. Club's going down the pan and whilst I don't doubt the good intentions of the current owners or manager none of them are qualified to be doing the jobs their doing and as such we find ourselves in this irreversible mess. At this point I don't know what's worse, this or letting it die out getting some sort of plan together to put a phoenix club in at a level we can compete at and built it up that way.eddyh wrote:In answer to the question of why nearly all Cox signings have left then yes it does tell us a lot. The Manager has finally cleared all this up, so no need to panic ....
"If I was getting rid of players who had scored one goal every two games, I could certainly understand the fans' frustration."
As Marsh has scored 5 goals in 7 starts under the present Manager, he doesn't meet the above criteria - so he has been quite rightly shown the door! How very dare he achieve a better than 1 in 2 average - not under my watch!!! Get rid of him NOW - trying to undermine the MANAGER like that!
