Terrace open at Macc!! Hooray!!!
Just thought i'd let everyone know that i rang Macc this morning and they confirmed that the away terrace behind the goal will be open on Saturday at £14 for adults. Last season if you remember we were crammed into a wing of the main stand seating and had to pay £20 for the privelege!! Well done to Macc for having common sense and embracing the true essence of lower league footy..........standing on the terraces!! Hooray!!!
Where can you get 2 pints for 4 quids these days????AlexGulls wrote:Excellent. Look forward to it even more now. Means an extra £4 for a pint or two aswell!!

Great news. Have never stood anywhere other than the terrace at Macc (missed last year) and was my first ever awayday experience 9 years ago to the weekend I think. We got a result that day, hoping we can recreate the day that good me addicted to being an exiled gull!

I can't recall if I attended the Macclesfield away match last season, can anyone jog my memory with a quick match report?

A bit vague for me too but i believe we went one nil up through a really scrappy Benyonesque tap in early in second half then they hit us with two goals in short succession, the second i remember was a good shot from distance from Hamza Bencherif and thats it! I remember that we were dreadful and couldn't believe that we were leading but it all went wrong and we lost 2-1. We will win on saturday though!!!

Remember that game. We were 5 guys from the Norway Gulls attending the match. Funny thing was that we stumbled upon a group of Norwegian Macclesfield supporters before the game. They got the last laugh though.

Did you guys from Norway go to the Rotherham game at the Don Valley Stadium last season? I remember hearing Nordic voices in the crowd near me and also saw some posts from Norwegian Gulls on this website before the game. Why do you guys support Torquay if you don't mind me asking? My favourite club in Norway is SK Brann Bergen as i went there once.

You are quite right. Myself and two friends ( one Gillingham fan and one Leeds fan) went to that game. Awful stadium and Mo Camara had a dreadful game. We also went down to Torquay and watched the game Accrington (our first win since Boxing Day). We also found time to attend a Gillingham and Leeds game.andygull wrote:Did you guys from Norway go to the Rotherham game at the Don Valley Stadium last season?
