Torquay V Chesterfield
Just wanted to post this as i have planned to go to the Gulls last home game of the season v Chesterfield and make a weekend of it with a few mates. I live in Chesterfield but support Torquay and our local rag the Derbyshire Times claims that the game is all ticket for Spireites fans and they fear many more travelling down to get in to the home areas to celebrate promotion 'down on the english riviera'! Now unfortunately i am not that frequent a visitor to plainmoor but do go to 75% of away games!! Therefore i am hoping that Gulls fans will be able to tell me if they think the match is likely to be all ticket or would it be highly likely i can pay on the day? Would it also depend on whether we are still in the hunt for a play off spot or even automatic by then? I am worried as it is my only chance to visit Plainmoor since last year and i am really looking forward to it!! Cheers!

I think it's likely to be made all-ticket, Andy. Unless we drop right off the pace for a play-off/promotion spot I don't see how the club will have much choice. Chesterfield could be celebrating promotion or needing a win to achieve it so it's likely to be a bumper crowd and key game for both sides.

Remeber Burton's 'Promotion Party'?
**** ed that right up for them. Not that they cared, but it was quite funny to let them score first, expect a big win, then head home having lost 2-1. Credit to them though, they were really nice fans, applauded us onto then off the pitch.
Matt.
