Alex Fisher started for Inverness CT on Saturday at Aberdeen. Not quite sure how he managed it but good luck to him. Massive drop in quality for ICT though on their recent strikers in years gone by.

See O'Kane played for Leeds yesterday - hopefully those add-ons will start being paid soon!
......... and he scored an 89th minute equaliser against Celtic last Saturday. What a player !!!??? He'll dine out on that story for years and years.Gulliball wrote:Alex Fisher started for Inverness CT on Saturday at Aberdeen. Not quite sure how he managed it but good luck to him. Great moment for him. Still not quite sure how he managed to get that move though, never mind getting on the pitch and scoring.
Just before that game on Sunday I travelled to watch Dundee vs Aberdeen, in the away end. Anthony O'Connor is getting a run of games at centre half and doing a good job. Jayden Stockley came off the bench and scored the winner with a great header. He's not starting many games but looks good when he does play - a very strong and mobile target man that wins everything in the air. Almost unrecognisable from the player we had on loan three years ago.

I have just noticed that Tranmere have sacked former United 'player from Hull' Gary Brabin. I have always doubted that Brabin was capable of leading Tranmere back to the promised land of league football.
Not sure about the accuracy of the last bit of this wikipedia entry

Andre Wright currently on loan at Coventry. Scored a last minute equaliser in midweek
Toddy has joined up with Hodges at Truro as player-coach.

Talk about falling down the leagues...I watched O'Neil Odofin play on Tuesday night for my local team Bedfont & Feltham. He looked a class above his team-mates but couldn't stop them losing 3-1 at home to AFC Hayes. That's Combined Counties League Premier Division...four tiers below us I believe.

Nathan Blissett's first appearance for Argyle (at 12:25). He seems to have had a hand (or was it a knee?) in setting up Argyle's last goal. Note the difference between their successful team and the Gulls: the crowd, the atmosphere, the team spirit, attitude and resilience. The Gulls were clueless, they go a goal down and they more or less give up!
