Can't fault the lads for effort, they ran themselves into the ground. Lee was my man if the match, thought he was very good and I'd start him next time out.
We were the better side for most of that, too bad we couldn't make it count. The next few weeks will be very difficult.

That one game sums up our season, unfortunately I can't see us making it, relying on other results now..

Didn't deserve to lose that. Just spoke to Chester fan staying at same hotel who agreed. Other results could hardly have been worse. Braintree can be caught but York will overtake us. Need an away win to make up for today now.
Best I don't write my views on the ref - or the stewards under the popside after the match .

I would say the Briantree match is now vital but by the time we play them it could be academic.

The ref was horrendous and a joke to his profession but nothing can excuse a steward pushing an elderly gentleman down the pop side stairs, utter ****.
