A bit early but...
A bit early but...
What are the chances of the Chesterfield game being made all ticket?
I've just been told by my lovely husband that he has booked a night in Torquay on the 29th of April, it's for our anniversary but he checked the fixtures so it would coincide with a match. He didn't realise what a potential biggy it would be and now he's worried. If it is made all ticket it may be a bit tricky.
So what do you reckon?

If we're involved in a promotion battle it will be for sure.

The 29th is the date of the Royal Wedding and also a Bank Holiday followed on the Monday by the early May Bank Holiday.
Pack your bag full of lingerie and expect an extended dirty weekend on the romantic ENGLISH RIVIERA.

Don't worry about getting a headache as hubby will have the headache pills in his luggage if he has planned the extended weekend to perfection.
Semper Fi (Always Faithful) Ma'am,
Your grovelling servant,

Wont this mean that for the past 3 seasons, every final home game, weve had the league winners? (Burton, Notts County, and now Chesterfield)
I knew about the wedding and the Bank Holiday Trojan
'Tis only the one night, don't think the In-laws could cope with my two terrors for longer than that.
As for the rest. Well, I don't quite know what to say.
I'm thinking it will be all ticket so will just have to keep an eye out I guess and hope. If we're not so lucky, then at least I'll be somewhere other than Hereford for 24 hours.

There's going to be quite a lot of Chesterfield fans in the home ends too. They sold out their 1000 on the first day, and I've heard plenty more say that they already have hotels/campsites booked, but no tickets, so will be coming down anyway.
My apologies Ma'am for being presumptuous.HRG wrote:I knew about the wedding and the Bank Holiday Trojan.

My humble offering on whether it will be an ticket match is in agreement with SG's assessment and if it is then a voucher system could be arranged for the Wycombe match on the Good Friday.
Let's hope the club don't make a pig's ear of it like the Crawley disaster.

If there's a voucher system I'm out. But I completely understand why they do it, why should those who go regularly miss out.
It's disappointing but hey.

Not necessarily.HRG wrote:If there's a voucher system I'm out. But I completely understand why they do it, why should those who go regularly miss out.

If the game becomes more crucial than it is then it could well be covered by ESPN/Sky.
Put your hands together Ma'am, close your eyes and wish, then a loyal servant may watch it in the pub and a ticket(s) exchanged for a voucher(s) may well be on it's way to you.
Then again, the club may make tickets available on open sale (no limit to how many can be purchased in person at the club office) after all season ticket/voucher holders have been catered for.
Nah, this is TUFC, expect another Crawley cock up and queues of angry, disappointed people.

I've been looking forward to the Chesterfield match for some time now, and I always try to watch the last home match of the season. Would hate to miss out because a load of Chesterfield fans were nicking our spaces in the Pop!
Wouldn't be suprised if it was all ticket, if a voucher system were to be implemented for the Wycombe match for example, then I think I may have to get myself down there just so I don't miss out.
Anyone know from past experience if you can buy tickets over the phone, or do I have to buy them in person at the club shop?

Na, na na, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, TORQUAY!
The Crawley disaster (besides the result) was the clubs failure to put tickets on open sale to those who turned up to the main office in person after all season ticket/voucher holders had been catered for.tktufc91 wrote:I've been looking forward to the Chesterfield match for some time now, and I always try to watch the last home match of the season. Result ?
Queues that went around the ground in overlapping circles for those paying at the turnstiles.

That's very kind Trojan but wouldn't be fair, could be a great result with a fantastic outcome and you shouldn't miss out.Trojan 67 wrote: Not necessarily.

I do know someone at the club but since I'm actually quite a shy person  and I don't like bothering people it'll either take me weeks to build up the courage to ask them for help or I'll live with the disappointment just to avoid being a pest.
