From Grimsby!!
Grimsby fan here. Make no mistake you have signed a top player and even better man. I wish you and him well for the season . UTM!
Perfect foil for the ever improving (yet still young) McGinty and the fact Anderson is waiting for any dip in performance will keep them on their toes.

The reaction from former clubs has been very encouraging. At 33 I doubt he's going to change much so it's a pretty risk free signing compared to previous years. He's a possible captain for the coming season, and at the very least should be an ideal partner to help McGinty develop.

Experienced player, something we have lacked in previous 2 years. Forget his age, Hargreaves was that age when he joined, he had more energy than most of the younger lads. He is captain material. He will mature mcginty. Great signing

I used to watch Kidderminster play quite often and Gowling was always a reliable solid player. Really looking forward to seeing him in the yellow shirt. His character seems absolutely spot on too on the YouTube video
Seems like he will bring some experience and leadership to the squad
