So, he was so shit, he didn't even play half a season for a team at the bottom, desperately in need of inspiration from anywhere it could find?
Regardless of the stats of appearences and goals (which, really, mean very little) I saw him play in those matches and he was largely ineffective. Once again this season, he is playing for a team struggling down the bottom end of the league (although, a run of 1000 consecutive wins has moved them up) and is failing to stand out from the crowd. I just don't think he is all that good. Anyway, this isn't about Carayol, it's about Tomlin and why whomsoever says he is useless is completely and totally wrong.
Matt.

Not at all. I've said that he did okay at Cheltenham, but he was our worst player the other night. Never have I said he's shit and shouldn't play, I just hope that he picks his level of performance up from Friday.ferrarilover wrote:
Nick,
Are we writing him off after one below par match then?
Matt.
Not sure why we didn't have Murray available. If you scroll down to the end of this piece you will see that Shrewsbury asked for James Collins to be released from the same pointless under-21 friendly because they considered their promotion push more important. Maybe we should have asked for something similar for Murray.NickGull wrote: Hopefully it's just a blip as he and Murray linked up fairly well on occasions on Tuesday, I thought. Agree about Murray - had we had had him on Friday I think we'd have won, personally.
