Hoo bloody ray !! A point and off the bottom ...an early birthday present for me ! We normally lose on the game nearest that day so thanks for that United. Makes a change not to be talking about a defeat !!
But what concerns me at the moment is that we are behind on our target to make 50 points. We had to make 1.3 points per game (mid-table form), but by my reckoning GO has had 6 games and has garnered 5 points. So we now need to win 2 and draw 1 of our next 3 just to keep on target, let alone do anything more than a last day escape act.
It’s all well and good thinking “we’ve got time to get out of this” but time is ticking and we aren’t making that much progress in terms of results.
Either way, I’m looking forward to Ebbsfleet and seeing how we fare there
Just got back...great to meet bixie and supernickywroe....good beer and actually a enjoyable game. We played some good football and just didn't have the trigger to make it count. After going behind a point was ok but to be honest on quality of football we deserved all 3 but you got to score else it does not matter.
Positive about the situation a little more and we just need some belief now and games can be won.
Davies was a class act today highly impressive
Well said, Jeff. I'm pleased someone agrees with me on this. We are still way off track from getting to the 50 point and a chance of the safety mark. History tells us we WILL need around 50. Going above Solihull is a good psychological lift to be off the bottom but in the grand scheme of things we have loads of catching up to do and desperately need wins in the coming weeks. Remember other teams around us will win as well!

Not like you've given them enough opportunities to win on your birthday old fella
