Hi
Not nbeen on forum for a while but I am on a small personal mission to identify the funniest most apt and witty player nicknames by club,,,
I'd love to know any Gulls ones past or present
Also who would be your candidate for Beast/Psycho or Trigger ( apart from our Trigger Mickey Evans who I think you had on loan once)
Best of luck and hurry back to the league!
Peter

Yes he was 'The Beast' no argument with that.
John Bond was ' Muffin' - he had a kick like a mule and goalkeeper Gary McGuire was known as 'Oggy'.
And let's not forget Derek 'The Dude' Dawkins.

I remember Paul Hirons around 89/90 was nicknamed "The Snake". The name apparently was given in recognition to his running and dribbling style and not as some dressing room banter.
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.
