And yet we would almost certainly have beaten the very same opposition on their own ground less than a week ago if Dowling hadn't been sent off.

Keep dreamin' kiddo
Dreams are what supporting a small club are all about. Anything is possible, as we have proved several times over the years (always to the backdrop of people saying we had no chance).
Cheer up mate, it's New Years Eve and 2018 will be our year
You know what. I think we will win this tomorrow if it’s on.
People are calling for a postponement, but I think Eastleigh will also strengthen in the next couple of weeks. We had their number at theirs. I think we can roll them over tomorrow.
For the second time in a week Eastleigh failed to dispatch ten men drawing 2-2 at home to Woking who played the last 35 minutes with a man down. In fact it needed an injury time equalizer to spare their blushes.
They also replaced their goalkeeper at half time. Tomorrow will be their fourth game in nine days so surely its in our interest to play the game.
I agree with Brucie, sorry Wivel, we need to get this played and won, remember that keeper Stack from last
year , the most blatant timewasting from a goalkeeper ever seen , then he wound up the crowd at the end
If we dont win today any faint hope of staying up will be gone for me
Happy New Year all, I d be surprised if this match does go ahead, the rain has been heavy all night and its not really stopped. Add that to the last few days of heavy rain the pitch must be heavy.
Its stopped raining!!! For now anyway!! Hopefully, Chris can work his magic and make sure the games on!! We desperately need it on and 3 points!! See you all there!!
Well here we are, 10AM match day, no announcement of any pitch inspection, or the game being in any doubt, so who knows. The weather during the night and into this morning was awful, however, the rain has gone, and it's settled and dry now, so could depend on how much lying water on the pitch.
