MOTM - East Thurrock
Up to five players from today please, in order.
Liam Davis - Another great game for him constantly running down the left a massive threat for them and assisted Keating’s 2nd with a pinpoint cross.
Keating - Took his chance today after Reid being dropped, two chances, two goals... he was clinical.
MacDonald - Distribution much better in the second half, made 3 great saves second half which kept us in the game, when Bass is back Owers has got a big decision to make, 3 clean sheets in a row...
Niate - Composed at the back, looked like more of a leader on today’s performance and he’s looking like a quality signing for this level.
Nabi - Looked very comfortable on the ball today, looks much better than he did pre season, made a few good runs with the ball which is nice to see a player carry the ball forward.

Ryan Dickson. My MOTM by a country mile. Best player on the pitch.
Ruairi Keating.2 well taken goals. The first sheer persistence the second being in the right place at the right time. Perfect cross by Liam Davis.
Shaun MacDonald. Saved a certain goal just before Keating scored his second goal.Noticeably got congrats from several team mates. Well done Shaun.
Liam Davis. With Dickson the two best footballers on the day.
Asa Hall despite a few terrible passes won a lot of headers in midfield. A bit slow but his experience is invaluable Great team player.
This team is improving with every game but still lacks a cutting edge.

It's funny how we all see the game so differently!
Cameron - didn't lose a header all game and happy to take responsibility and look forward for a pass.
Dickson - pretty poor first half with some awful passing but showed how good he can be with his 2nd half display. Will be a key player this season.
Keating - didn't do much really but we won the game because of him. Very happy for the lad.
Macdonald - 2nd half distribution was great and that point blank save just before we got our second goal looked incredible from where I was stood.
Asa Hall - won some key headers and like Dickson, was much better 2nd half.

Hall, slotted in at the back and to my mind was more effective there
Niate natural leader
Davis
Great result, great atmosphere second half. S4ason ticket us looking like £188 well spent
