Probably some compacting but I think that the real problem is winter.desperado wrote: 27 Jan 2019, 17:45 No new groundsman has been appointed, Julian was Chris Ralph's assistant. I think the problem is the top inch or two is so muddy and compacted and the soil structure consequently destroyed that any rainwater cannot get through to the drainage

Cheers desperado - that does seem a logical explanation.desperado wrote: 27 Jan 2019, 17:45 No new groundsman has been appointed, Julian was Chris Ralph's assistant. Just watched the highlights - and you're not wrong!hector wrote: 26 Jan 2019, 19:28 Lovely to see us score so many and yet it felt as though we hardly had to break a sweat to win by so many. We missed so many chances as well, it could have easily been 11.

Does anyone know if Woking's games in hand dates have been announced yet - BBC website doesnt list them.
I assume one is versus Hemel...anyone know who the other one is?

just visited their website - look to be playing Dartford on Tues 5th Feb at home and then Hemel on Tues 19th Feb at Home with Truro away on Tues 26th Feb (we play Hemel on Tues 12th, which will put as back to having played 2 more than them).
7 games in 25 days for them in February, compared to our 5 in the whole month.
