Merry Christmas everyone.
Just pondering on tomorrow this morning as I was waiting for the mass family onslaught and my mind wondered, as it does, to Boxing Day matches. What’s your favourite?
I loved the Exeter City fixtures over the years but my all time favourite has to be Brentford away.
1-0 down at HT and the disrespectful pollock claridge decides to goad the Torquay support. A combination of Alex Russell’s phenomenal passing and Constantines finishing destroys Brentford in the second half. Much to the ecstatic delight of the Torquay faithful who promptly centred their vocal piss taking on claridge who then had a mare lol
Some much so that mad dog pulled him off
Brilliant league one times!

A mental image I could do without on Xmas morning.

Got to be beating Argyle 2-1 on a snow covered semi frozen pitch . Mal Lucas with a rare goal after 3 minutes in a blizzard and John Rudge following up his parried penalty by Jim "Grecian 2000' Furnell for the winner in front of 12,000 at Plainmoor.
