Agree with a lot of the last contributor has said, for me I think it is really good that we have a geniune centre forward who can hold things up but wright and umerah seem to do identical jobs and neither are especially mobile, play one or the other and Britton playing off them. I understand why wright is blowing , he is the wrong side of 36 and one match in a week would be more than sufficent for him. We are only playing wing backs or in our case using two squad players neither of which are capable or competant in the role out of neccessity not choice, if we had our first choice back four then buse could revert to his favoured position of seat warmer and nemane could revert to the right wing where as we saw in the latter stages of saturday he can actually do some damage.
Torquay do need to have a very close look at our injury situation, the bad luck theory is starting to wear very thin and only goes so far in explaining our extraordinary run of injuries which seems to have gone on for several seasons, sports science should be an integral part of every team, are we acquiring players that are prone to long term injuries, is the training regime based purely on levels of fitness as determined by a computer algorithm in a device strapped to their backs, is our recovery and treatment unit fit for pro football. There is no point in acquiring good footballers if they spend more time on the treatment table than actually playing.I know Johnson is old school and would bulk at the idea but surely it would be of benefit to send one of our team say to Bristol city or Bournemouth for a week to look at all aspects of the training, recovery and rehabilitation of the players.

Unfortunately Whitfield will have to play wing back again as Moxey is suspended. Moxey will he back in the side next week so that will let Whitfield move up front . Nemane needs to get out wide too

At first glance this story seems to imply that Sherring is on his way back to Bournmouth!:

Yes thankfully it was stating he had headed home in the match.
Thought Nemane did ok there. Much better than in the centre of midfield. Whitfield, yes. Doesn’t suit him.
