Liberation day!!

Post by Scott Brehaut »

66 years ago today (9 May), Guernsey, along with the other Channel Islands, were liberated from Nazi occupation. It is a national holiday and so I will be enjoying my day off work whilst the majority of you will be slaving away.

Happy Liberation day to any fellow channel islanders!!

Well, I have had a fantastic day. Magners have gone down well, and I had my first gig this evening with my mate at a pub in our Town. Bloody brilliant, and more bookings to come.

All that I need now is for Torquay to do well in the first leg on Friday to round up an ace week!!

Right, work tomorrow (boooo), so best get sorted for bed!!

Belated happy Lib Day, Scotty!! Good time to be in Guernsey - all those Bank Holidays and then an extra one yesterday. Which pub did you play in?
