Torquay United v Notts County Sat 24 April 3pm KO
United host Notts County on the back of a run which has seen us win all 5 Games in April and 7 out the last 8 conceding just 2 goals.
County have lost the last 3 games and will be desperate to win or at least avoid another defeat.
United have a tremendous team spirit at the moment and despite our injury list we are proving to be real battlers and seeking to press from the first whistle.
My heart says 2-0 win but my head says 1-1 draw. COYY

Another big game, who would have thought Torquay United v Notts County as a game outside the football league!
Anyhow a win for us tomorrow will, I think, mean they would not be able to catch us and maybe that is the first aim a top 3 finish and a great chance to get promoted via the playoffs??

This is a must win match for both clubs in their bids for promotion. Nerves are setting in as both sets of fans are not overly optimistic about the result based on a skeleton Torquay squad due to injuries and Notts due to a poor run of results that put them outside the play-off spots. I am not expecting a classic or high scoring match - but we are in good form with the players we have available and their desire and passion to grind out a result - as seen in recent matches - could well be the difference between the two teams and a final result in favour of Torquay.

Really, the instagram video from an hour ago looked great;gateman49 wrote: 24 Apr 2021, 12:15 Unfortunately the weather its going to have a significant effect on the match as it is blowing a gale right down the Channel and in across the Babbacombe end.

Great to see that we’ve added to the squad. Lucas Tomlinson on TUFC website
Same team as Tuesday with the new boy on the bench. At least the injured players on Tuesday night make the team today but the continuing inability of our injured players to reappear is a massive worry.

It was always going to be Ellis !! Notts don't look like a team that has lost their last 3 .......... unless we are particularly poor !!
