Playoff Final Vs Hartlepool at Ashton Gate
Looks like the capacity will be restricted to 10,000 as per current government guidelines so looks like a maximum of 5000 tickets per club.
Any idea when tickets will be going on sale?

I am probably wrong but thought the crowd was limited to 25% of capacity then split between the two clubs. The ground capacity is showing as 27,000 so on that basis the crowd would be limited to 6750 or 3375 per club. Hopefully you are correct of more will get in.

STEP 3 (from 17 May)
Outdoors
4,000 people or 50% capacity (whichever is a lower). Large outdoor seated venues (seated capacity of 16,000+) up to 10,000 people or 25% of seated capacity (whichever is lower).

Reading some posts elsewhere it looks like just over 3000 for each team.
How true this is don’t know but someone said the national league have dropped 3100 tickets at the club after the game.
If this is true the decision to play the game at Ashton Gate is ridiculous as plenty of other venues around the county would accommodate more fans from both teams.

3100 sounds about right for 25% of Ashton Gate's capacity - no doubt a few tickets will never make it to the two clubs involved.
The game should have been played at Villa Park, Arsenal or Spurs.
I hope we get an announcement from the club about sales today.

You are right, I was looking at guidelines for smaller stadiums so realistically around 3000 each.
Bristol is convenient for Torquay but ticket limitations mean that perhaps a bigger stadium would have been welcomed.
Looking forward to ticket announcements

SuperNickyWroe, I've just been on the Internet and see there's a train that leaves Barnsley at 9am and arrives at Sheffield at 9-21. You will need to change trains at Sheffield and catch the 09-58 service to Bristol Temple Meads which arrives in Bristol at 12-52. The return fare is only £107-70

The caterers at Ashton Gate will have to stock up with prawn sandwiches, the posh middle class Tory voters of Hartlepool will not put up with ordinary fare. What is the dress code? I assume smart casual

He has a private jet so won’t need the train :na:dawlishmatt wrote: 13 Jun 2021, 10:48 SuperNickyWroe, I've just been on the Internet and see there's a train that leaves Barnsley at 9am and arrives at Sheffield at 9-21. SuperNickyWroe I happen to think Ashton Gate is good for United.
Connor Lemonheigh-Evans and Jake Andrews if selected will have played a good view games at Ashton Gate and Gary and his son Lee will know all there is to know about the Pitch and the Ground.
OK I accept it is a minor plus for us but also it is a long way from Hartlepool for the Monkey Hangers Fans a short trip for us.
I can see plenty of positives but only one negative.
