Altrincham predictions.
First game of the season and obviously every club in the land wont be at their best and a few flat performances will occur for sure.
Torquay 2-1 Altrincham
Torquay 2-1 Altrincham

Exciting times, first game always a large crowd and certainly hope for a good performance to keep attendances up.
Heart says 4-0 (Holman x2 Lolos x2)
Head says 0-0

Tough one to call. Opening day fixture, big(ish) crowd, new(ish) squad, high expectations from all considering our finish to last season...
sod it... 6-0 with Holman and Wright each netting their first (and not last) hattricks of the season.
Att: 2,999 (would've been 3,000 but I have other commitments tomorrow - this'll be the first time I've missed a Torquay opening game for donkey's years but as mentioned elsewhere on here I'll be at Longmead Stadium and singing the song of our beloved Ben Gerring)

I see that the BT sport game for Saturday Bromley v Grimsby is off (due to COVID I assume). Does that mean a last minute change in kick off for another game, ours??

Think a win is definitely possible. Need to get an early goal to settle the nerves. Also a clean sheet . But it will depend heavily on what team GJ sends out . Interesting Come on you yellows

We owe Alty, big time. The 5 points they, deservedly, took off us last season cost the Title. I expect a GJ first half hurricane, smashing their resistance. 3-0 at HT plus 2 more in the 2nd half. 5-0 to the good guys. A Danny and Dan brace a piece with a stunning free-kick from Jake or Armani to complete the revenge.
The ATT will be 3,333. It would have been 3,378 but for the asshats who decided to disallow pay at the gate.

I just hope that the organisation is better on the pitch than that off it!
Following am email from the club ten days ago to say season tickets are available for collection, We still have not got them.
Three visits and several phone calls and the excuses keep coming. I can see total chaos on Saturday unless someone gets a grip.
On the pitch 2-1 win.

2-0 with a Holman brace . Let’s start the season as we mean to go on!

Irrespective of whether we see this as a tough game/banana skin. It’s a game we should win. Let’s not forget our opening 6 fixtures feature Notts, Grimsby, Southend all of which should feature in top 7.

I don't believe Grimsby and Southend will be in the top 7.
