Torquay United v Solihull Moors FC Tues 13th Sept 19.45pm
National League Fixtures recommence tomorrow and United will face a very good Solihull Moors team on Tuesday evening at Plainmoor.
Solihull have made a strong start to the season and lie 4th with 4 wins, 2 draws and just 1 defeat.18 goals see them second only to Wrexham for goals scored. However only 6 teams have conceded less than United so it could be a very good game if we are at our best.
I am going 2-2 more in hope than expectation.

Tough game, but I’m going 2-1 to us for this. Solihull will come here expecting to win with the form guide currently, but I can see us pulling a result Tuesday!!
Pity we wernt playing Aldershot as coming off the Southend victory reckon we might have got a result.
Solihull are by a mile the best team we have plated so far though and unfortunately cant see us getting anything.

We will need to be really up for this one and be at our very best to get anything.
Very strong free scoring team.
Have they still got that forward who is about 7ft 6 ? Think he is better on the ground than in the air though.

Another home defeat just moments away. Strong leadership is needed, we have been sold down the river with our recruitment....It is a bloody shambles
Sounding hopeless as usual.
4-1 enbarassing
1-4, confirmation if anyone needed it we are a very poor side and are in a relegation battle. I was looking at our xg stats so far this season and they are very worrying. Also Solihull’s odds to win tonight were so short it and it just confirms that bookmakers have also realised how poor we are.

Ripped to shreds and now 1 point off the drop zone
With 6th placed Wealdstone up next with another defeat likely, if we drop points at rock bottom Scunthorpe in the 10th game then what does it say?
GJ said give it 10 games…I don’t think we need the next 2 to assess who who makes the cut , most of us can surely see who the weakest links are by now.
Other than picking up an experienced player who is clubless or a set of loan players, I’m not sure where the club can realistically turn to bolster the squad in the absence of better recruitment.
Perhaps we need to set up a #fanscout to signpost viable players?! It’s getting desperate already!
