I reckon about 8,000.
Short notice, cost and not being Wembley means we'll take less than to previous finals.

Villa Park would have been a better choice for League Two play off. More central and better atmosphere with ground more full.

Agree totally. Gonna be like 2 peas rattling round in a saucepan in an 75k seater ground. Bit like wembley really :-|

its a completely different climate to when we got to wembley for the sherpa van in 89, everything was loads cheaper, there was less football on the tv, the premiership and champions league were just a vision on a marketing mans flip chart somewhere and wembley was a sacred place. no one ever thought little torquay united would ever get to wembley, plus we were the first devon club to play so a few from our rivals piled up to watch us get battered.

we'll never see the likes of that following in the 21st century i'm afraid! shame, even tho we lost it was a magical day out!

Anything less than 10k is embarrassing IMO.

Then prepare to be embarrassed - we didn't get too many more for the BSP playoff final and Wembley is easier to get to and the match was only screened on Setanta.

Anyone know how many tickets were sold today?

I would like to concentrate on some (hopefully) positive news rather than some of the negative comments being thrown around so far.
