YELLOW ARMY SHARE ISSUE - FULL-TIME UPDATE
The TUST board are delighted to announce that the amazing sum of £205,501 has been raised through Crowdfunder for the Yellow Army Share Issue with a further £16,500 raised from direct payments received providing a final fund raise figure of £222,001.
There have been a total of 519 subscriptions through Crowdfunder and a further 15 from direct payments of which 96 have purchased the Platinum package pledging £1,000 or more and 438 the Gold package. TUST has seen its overall membership soar to 1,140.
The total of £222,201 will be used in its entirety to buy shares in the club (TUAFC Ltd) with all the costs associated with running the share issue and collecting payments being met from existing TUST funds.
This, together with the £50,000 previously allocated from TUST’s Forever Yellow Fund, means that TUST will have been able to inject a total of £272,001 into the Club which will secure just over 28.6% as an ownership stake and two places on the board of directors.
There is a considerable amount of work to be done by TUST volunteers now to reconcile the pledges, check TUST memberships and arrange the rewards for Gold and Platinum subscribers. We will be contacting all investor-members shortly to confirm their details including the names they wish to see on the 3rd shirt and the "Investor-Members Board" to be displayed at Plainmoor.
On behalf of the TUST board and the TUAFC directors, thank you once again to all who have purchased community shares.
The Yellow Army have demonstrated what "One Club United" really looks like!

Superb!
From a financial point of view: Good attendances, high shirt sales, probably a massive improvement on the hospitality sales too with the positive work being done there and now this fantastic injection of cash.
Separate from the money side of things, I think we all feel re-vitalised and that there is a real way forward for this club again. It's amazing to see all the changes with communication, the set-up, TUST on the board, owners listening to ideas etc.
What do you think we will do with the cash?
Lately, I have been thinking that investment in another coach or two could really help us get the best out of the current crop.
Exciting times, COYY.

Truely a fantastic achievement and as one of the 500 odd investors it was great to be able to support this
I would be supportive of the club using some of the funds to sort out the floodlights and big screen, as both co-chairmen mentioned, it needs doing and the screen presents a currently untapped revenue generator
Otherwise as long as we are on track to balance the books anything spare should go to the playing squad

Good evening Midlandgull
Thanks for your message.
The requested "names" to be incorporated within the 3rd strip from the Yellow Army Share Issue investors have been provided to the club and it is my understanding the production of this is now underway. I can't give you a specific date as to when the shirt will be launched other than to say it will very likely be within the next month.
I hope that helps?
Best Wishes
Matt

Good Morning Midlandgull
Yes, the club have naturally got this all agreed but the actual details are being kept under close wraps until the launch, so I'm sorry I don't have any information to share with you at this point. Understandably, I believe the club will be looking to try and maximise the opportunity for sales prior to the Christmas period and will be looking to market this accordingly in the build up to the launch as they have done so well with other areas this season. No doubt there will be some further excellent videos and teasers leading up to it!
Matt
Do we know if the shirt sponsor will be as per the Home and Away shirts or whether it will display TUST?

The new shirt will not be sponsored by TUST and hence I can only assume the same sponsor details will be on the 3rd shirt, but that is really a question for the club as I don't 100% know for sure.

Great stuff. Thanks for the update!
As weve gone a little retro recently. lets hope its a classic remake of the 70's / 80's White Bukta kit.

Hi Al161
Yes, slight delay on the “end of the week” date I mentioned in my previous post. Watch this space as I was actively involved in this yesterday so literally ready to launch over the next couple of days.. The shirt is excellent by the way (in my opinion!) so well worth the wait!!
