Agrees with my analysis that if we win all four games we still have a chance of winning the league but that it's out of our hands.
Would be a massive effort to do that, but we could.
As we seen pretty much anyone can beat anyone.
But it's football and that's why it's so fascinating.
I don't think Slough is an easy game, let alone truro. Slough have beaten Worthing 4-0, but also lost 4-0 to Weymouth.
It'll be the team that beat Worthing 4-0 that turns up at Plainmoor. Every team raises their game 50% when they come to Plainmoor , we have to deal with it and do the same
Seems truro were extremely lucky at worthing. Some horrific decisions by the ref(sigh). Lavercombe should of been sent off and worthing missed alot of chances, but that's football.
What an amazing run between the top eight teams with three games to go.
Who would of thought it?
I can only thank those involved for such spectacle, what a turn around!

Win our last three games and we still have a chance of winning the league but will finish in top three (unless Worthing win their last two games by ten more than we do), as Worthing and Eastbourne play each other so can’t both get to 89 points with a better goal difference than us.
Well we are now really on the final run In with just 3 games left to play.
I think now more than ever before the 2 big Games on Good Friday are the keys to who gets top spot I refer to Eastbourne v Worthing and Truro v Torquay United.
Both Truro and Worthing have the advantage both with a 2 point lead over Eastbourne but Truro are favourites because of the best goal difference of 29 of the Top 4 teams.
The permutations are endless but our only chance of Top Spot is to win the last 3 games getting 89 points and hope Truro and Worthing slip up. I think however Eastbourne might win the League with 90 points.
They will be favourites at Home to beat Worthing in a South Coast Derby of huge importance to both clubs.

Agreed I think if we win the last 3 games, we could win this, It is such a nail biter and would be great if we were in with a chance in the last game.
We have a good record against Truro and Weymouth, so fingers crossed 2 wins then all to play on the last game.
I predict a last-minute winner from Matty Jay to break the hearts of the Cornish!

It assisted but I wouldn't say luck won it for them though. They were gifted the first goal, I still struggle to belive that happened. The second, another mindfart, letting the ball bounce in the box was ruthlessly exploited... give a chance like that to their forward line Jephcott, Harvey etc and they'll punish you.
We lost that game rather than Truro won it, if that makes sense? They just play direct efficient football and if you do what we couldn’t boss both boxes, you'll win... and Friday I'm 100% a Gull
You win and we can still afford to take a point from Priory Lane (no-one has won there) and go a point clear with two to play

They are, without doubt.
The straw we're clutching desperately to is who they've played in their great run. Just two defeats in 11 games but they were to rivals Boreham Wood and Dorking. All their points have come against also-rans. The one exception was Maidstone but they are limping home in very poor form now anyway.
If we don't end top though it won't be from failing to beat the likes of 'Boro. Bit like your 'the likes of Chesham results' it'll be failing to beat the Wellings, Hornchurches and Sloughs of this league

WSM won 3-0 last night and are in great form. I think 5 wins in the last 6 games... and now in playoff places again. They could well play a part in deciding who ends up where in the top 3 given that they play Truro and Eastbourne in their final 2 games.
WSM have potential to be dark horse in the playoffs too. It's only due to a poor run of games November to January that they're not in contention for the title.
One to keep an eye on in this fascinating run in.....

Although they did indeed win 3-0, they were very fortunate to have to replay the game that they were losing 1-0 on 82 minutes on Saturday. The game was abandoned due to a medical emergency in the crowd and re-scheduled for last night. I spoke to one of the board members of Tonbridge Angels yesterday morning and they were disappointed with the abandonment, and the fact that they only had a very thin squad to choose from for last night's re-arranged game, with only 3 on the bench and several first-teamers unavailable due to work commitments. Not to mention the additional costs of travelling to WsM for the second time in four days.
However, every cloud has a silver lining. It now means that Maidstone are now out of the play-offs for the timebeing. They are the last team we want to meet in the play-offs should we not finish as champions.
Yes, they were fortunate. If memory serves me well, there was a medical emergency at the Weymouth v Yeovil match last season. Weymouth were winning at the time of the incident and the game was abandoned. The fan was a Yeovil fan. Weymouth were given the result.

They're a proper double-edged sword for both of us.
We need them to be good to boost our chances of top spot... but if we don't make it then a team on the last minute charge, who now top the NLS form rankings, are the very last team anyone wants to meet in the play-offs
