Please don’t even consider taking flares, pyros etc into the ground on Saturday. If they are let off it could well, if things go our way, cost us promotion via a points deduction.

Please, please, don’t even think about it…….

Will The Crabtree be showing the cup semi after? Bringing son to the game and he is a Palace fan. Will try to park near a sports pub so if not here, if anyone knows any...

Last Day Permutations –

Beat Hemel & Truro fail to beat St Albans – Champions!!!!

Beat Hemel by two goals, scoring two more than Truro – Champions!!!!

Beat Hemel but don’t overtake Truro’s goal difference / goals scored – 2nd.
Home play off Saturday 3rd May. (almost certainly Boreham Wood or Dorking if they and Eastbourne all win?)

Assuming the four teams below us all win –

Draw with Hemel – 4th
Home play off Wednesday 30th (definitely Maidstone)

Lose to Hemel – 6th
Away play off Tuesday 29th (Dorking?)

If we finish below 3rd and win the midweek play off we’d be away against 3rd or 4th and away again in the final 17th / 18th unless a lower team beat 2nd / 3rd in semi final.

Obviously the teams below us may not all win but it’s not practical to look at all possible scenarios.

So whilst beating Truro on goal difference would be best, a win to secure 2nd place, or championship if Truro falter, must be the priority.

As in all matches this season, I have no clue as to the score. We have regulary missed as many as we scored, just look at Monday's match with Weymouth! At least our defence has tightened up since Christmas, with several clean sheets.

What do we expect from Hemel ? Will they be on thLL each?.....or fighting for their lives? I do not doubt, it will be the latter. So we have to be at our best to win and hopefully win well. I firmly believe that Truro WILL drop points against St Alban's.....
That will make us Champions. However if Truro win the league, we MUST ensure we are runners-up, that will give us the potential of two home matches, played in front of packed houses.

Please avoid the playoffs at all cost, they are a lottery.

My prediction;

Hemel Hempstead 1 Torquay 3
COYY.

11-0!

Hamon steps forward to score a 95th penalty which means all outfield players have scored as torquay are crowned champions. Then i wake up!
