Next season's 3rd shirt, voted for by TUST members

Post by SuperNickyWroe »

The club have announced that TUST members can vote for the 3rd shirt.
The choices are a plain blue, retro purple (the away one from 91-93) and a "swirly" blueish one.....
Have voted for the purple one, as I think its the best!

The purple kit is by far the best. 2nd option is a mess just like the present away kit. Blue option is okay, but badge needs to be seen to make it look striking

Purple one is best for me. Although if you’re recreating retro shirts then surely the light blue 92-93 kit with cool parallelograms is the outstanding candidate!

Interesting the first one, 67/68, when we moved away from yellow in the top, I must admit I thought it was a darker blue than shown.
If I recall correctly people complained that they could not spot the players in our Saturday evening kickoffs, not a problem for our players, well until Easter that season. Lucky shirt?
Happy Memories.

Two shirts with purple, are we moving away from Plainmoor and moving to Barbados? It has to be the first (blue) one!

I assume we are also changing our first and second kit, and if either of them contain purple I would personally prefer us to go back to the old days and play in 'Skins!'

I voted purple. The blue pink job could easily be the next cursed kit and the blue one just looks a bit plane jane. I like kits with a collar.

Make the first team kit yellow and the 2nd kit white with yellow trim - bit like the one in the late 70's and early 80's (Bukta / Umbro). Surprised there has never been a retro kit to that period.

Get a grip......

Its the 3rd Shirt not the home one for gods' sake....
Just like one we've had before...
Has it escaped your attention that the current home shirt is a copy of the retro shirt from 93-95??

1993-1995 season: lost in the playoffs - that doesn't bode well for tomorrow!

It seems that an Australian (?) guy is building an exact replica of the Titanic, and when it is completed he will repeat the journey. Same same same as the Titanic! I will not be booking a ticket! Sometimes it is not good to go back again.
