Remember us talking about this abck in January when this Buckle to Rovers thing first cam up,back then i think, i said ,my head says Trollope my heart says Hargreaves,if it is Trollope hope my judgment in managers is better than goalkeeprs
Not to much to hope for both of them.

Unlikely to be here mate.
I heard from two people today that Bucks is in line for a payout if Eunan is sold, I wonder if he is on the same promise if anyone else is sold.

A tad harsh? I seem to remember them playing half decent football on the occasions i've happened to see them, but I wouldn't say i know his style for definite.Fonda wrote:Can't imagine Eunan flourishing in his team...
Also his squads over the last few years have always seemed to contain some talented footballers?
As I said, could be wrong!
At least he has a vague idea about how to manage a football club, though...

Yep. My personal choice would be to go for someone with some managerial experience, rather than merely a playing link to our club (which seems like a pre-requisite for consideration). I'd just rather watch a bit of football when i go to the football and Rovers fans indicate that won't be possible with Trollope at the helm.Kit_robin wrote: A tad harsh? "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something."
Did not hear Rovers fans complaining when his style of mangement got them promoted,or twice finishing 11th in league1,personaly i am no fan of hoofball,i like football to be played the way the game was meant to played on the deck and with your feet.
However the result of our play-off final was hoofball 1 football 0 so maybe there is something in it at league 2 level.

There might be something in it in terms of getting results, but i simply don't want to watch it. I go to the football for pleasure - and i would get no pleasure from watching that - even if we did win every game 1-0.

If you ask any rovers fans they will point out that Lennie Lawro was the guiding hand there. When he left it all started going downhillforevertufc wrote:Did not hear Rovers fans complaining when his style of mangement got them promoted,or twice finishing 11th in league1,personaly i am no fan of hoofball,i like football to be played the way the game was meant to played on the deck and with your feet.
