The man has absolutely no class. There is no denying what he achieved but I can't have any respect for someone who can act like that. I would have had more respect for someone who achieved less but conducted themeselves with decency. The man is an absolute snake - no mistake.
He's got Bayes' boots on!

Complete indifference, but will allow myself a little smirk as he trudges down the tunnel after a crushing defeat...
I second Westy.

She's saving all her kinky gear for the moment she hears "Hargreaves installed as new boss at Plainmoor" ![Glasses :)](./images/smilies/glasses.gif)

He will want a reaction due to his self importance, don't give him one.
Depends if he is still in charge by the time Rovers come for a visit ![Whistle ](./images/smilies/whistle.gif)

Looks like I'm the only one who will give him polite applause, although if he picks off our team over the summer then that might change.
I'm not defending his actions or conduct over the last month or so, but I'm grateful for what he has achieved over his four seasons at the club. He is undeniably one of the most successful managers we've ever had.

True Tommy but the way he has made his departure has left a very bitter taste in the mouth of gulls fans and will not do any favours when he returns. I will not boo him as like I said previosly - 3 finals in 4 years and our League status back - he did well for us and should be remembered for that.tommyg wrote:Looks like I'm the only one who will give him polite applause, although if he picks off our team over the summer then that might change.

I will ignore him, best thing for us to do,against Rovers is to support our team with more passion and noise than ever, that way we might beat them, now wouldn't that be good.

He might have been 'statistically' our most successful manager. But statistics can be made to prove anything. He's been in charge during a period we played non-league football - and were one of the 'bigger fish' down there. He also benefitted from more help (in terms of coaches, scouts) than any or our other managers in living memory. It remains very difficult to compare the performances of managers from different era's.
"Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something."
There's no way in the world that you'd convince some of the older fans that Frank O'Farrell wasn't the best manager we've ever had.
