First Signing
Just to let you know that we have made our first signing which is Matt Gill from Norwich on a three year deal. I would therefore think that if Bevan had been signing for us we would have been told today. Of course it may still happen but my feeling is that its just a rumour. It is interesting that we managed to sign him despite competition from Walsall and Exeter. Will keep you informed of any rumours at our end but what I would say is that this signing would indicate to me that it is the end of Stuart Campbell at Roivers and if you do appoint Trolls I imagine Campbell would join up with him which would be a very good signing for you.
I just commented on this friendlygas in the banter section. Probably best if we have anything not directly Torquay related we keep it in that board.
And the Bevan deal has been agreed - http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/page/Lat ... 60,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I had a chicken escalope for lunch. I could have had beef or tuna. My mate, David is thinking about having turkey tomorrow - I think he might like it -I'll keep you informed if I hear anything further.friendlygas wrote:Just to let you know that we have made our first signing which is Matt Gill from Norwich on a three year deal. Enzo,that reply is hilarious.Love a bit of friendly banter and glad you enjoyed your lunch. Might try to have chicken tomorrow myself with some Branston on it!!
Hmmm. Contrary to many others I can take or leave Branston. When it is good, it is very good and can bring the very best out of the rest of a sandwich. However, when it is bad it is very bad and too often completely ruins a sandwich. I also think it is getting close to it's sell by date. When you are shopping in the kind of patterisseries that you are at the moment I don't think you need any branston.friendlygas wrote:Enzo,that reply is hilarious.Love a bit of friendly banter and glad you enjoyed your lunch.
